July 13, 2025 – Riviera Beach (First Dive)
Our very first cleanup set the tone for what Reef Boyz would become. With 12 passionate volunteers, we not only collected over 30 pounds of plastic and debris from the sand but also pulled 5 pounds of lead and scrap metal from the reef itself. This event proved that even a small, determined group can make a measurable impact on both the shoreline and the ocean beneath it.
Boca Raton, FL
July 19, 2025 – Boca Lake
Armed with scuba tanks and metal detectors, Mike and four other Reef Boyz spent over four hours underwater, combing through Boca Lake for hidden debris. Their dedication paid off—removing over 30 pounds of metal lodged in the lakebed. By diving deeper, we highlighted the unseen threats beneath the surface that harm aquatic ecosystems and marine life.
Sexton Plaza Beach, 1050 Beachland Blvd, Vero Beach, FL
July 27, 2025 – Vero Beach
With the help of 15 local volunteers, Reef Boyz expanded its reach to Vero Beach. Together, we cleaned over a mile of shoreline, hauling out more than 60 pounds of trash before it could wash back into the ocean. Beyond the cleanup, this event showcased how quickly a community can unite when given a chance to protect their home waters.

August 17, 2025 – Dania Beach
This effort brought together 17 Reef Boyz alongside founders Mike and Justin, all working side by side with the community. The result: over 80 pounds of trash and scrap metal removed from the beach entrances and park areas. Visitors that day didn’t just see volunteers with bags—they saw transformation in real time, proof that when people step up, beaches become safe, welcoming, and beautiful again.
