About Dan

My name is Daniel Squillace. I lead the marketing and communications efforts, and I have a lifelong commitment to preserving Fort Lauderdale's beaches.

A part of my dedication stems from a childhood tradition with my mother, who instilled in me the importance of caring for the environment. Before any walk, we would clean up the trash, a practice she would follow with the phrase, "Now we can walk around the block and enjoy ourselves." That lesson stuck. Now, I channel that same proactive energy into my work. I serve as the strategic force behind our campaigns, transforming awareness into action and motivating our community to contribute to the preservation of Fort Lauderdale's pristine shores and reefs.



My goal? To make sure every visitor can enjoy our beaches without first having to clean up.
